Leslie has a strong analytical ability - math has always been her forte - she believes this helps her pick the best stocks. She has been an avid stock researcher for over fourteen years. Leslie honed her analytical skills as a computer programmer earlier in her career. She still draws on the pattern-recognition skills she sharpened while working at Intel Corporation as a data base designer and analyst.

For seventeen years Leslie has selected stocks and managed portfolios for clients at Riverstone, Scudder, Stevens & Clark; Barrett Associates; and Morse, Williams & Company. For fourteen years prior she was with J. P. Morgan where she advised clients on wealth management issues for seven years.

A Texas native, Leslie graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1971 with a concentration in Operations Research, the study of efficiency.

She has been married to Tom Tumlinson for more than 28 years and is blessed with two teenage daughters.
